Parveen Shakir was great Urdu poet born
on November 24, 1952 in Karachi.Her first volume of poetry was Khushbu
which got Adamjee Award.Her pen name (Takhlus) was "Beena". She also got
Pride of Performance Award.Here volume of poetry are :Khushbu
(1976),Sad-barg (1980),Khud-kalaami (1990),Inkaar (1990),Maah-e-Tamaam
(1994),Kaf-e-Aa'ina. She died in 1994 in a car accident.
